Job summary

People Impact in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Sr. D&T Analyst – HCM Core to join the Digital & Technology Human Capital Management team.

The role focuses on configuring, supporting, and enhancing Workday HCM Core and other HR technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong Workday functional expertise, problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting and delivering complex IT solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, solutions, and supporting Workday HCM Core – Mandatory.
• Experience with a complex global Workday implementation or transformation project.
• Strong experience in Workday configuration, troubleshooting, data, business processes, integrations, EIBs, calculated fields, and security.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead Analyst for global HR technology, process, data, and system initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and ensure the health, stability, and sustainability of HR systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot Workday HCM, including Business Processes, Complex Calculated Fields, Integrations, EIBs, and Security.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications and solution recommendations.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify pain points, prioritize requirements, and improve processes using Workday capabilities.
• Lead initiatives through discovery, planning, configuration, testing, implementation, and stabilization.
• Develop test scenarios/scripts, execute testing, and support UAT and production stabilization.
• Create and maintain technical and process documentation.
• Communicate system and process changes to stakeholders; collaborate with vendors to deliver enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have strong Workday functional expertise, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. This role will work closely with global HR, business, technology teams, and third-party partners to drive system improvements and deliver a strong employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead Analyst for global HR technology, process, data, and system initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and ensure the health, stability, and sustainability of HR systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot Workday HCM, including:

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience supporting and delivering complex IT solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, solutions, and supporting Workday HCM Core – Mandatory.
• Experience with a complex global Workday implementation or transformation project.
• Strong experience in Workday configuration, troubleshooting, data, business processes, integrations, EIBs, calculated fields, and security.
• Strong ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications.
• Experience with production support, stabilization and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors.
