Job summary

Talent et au-dela is seeking an Associate Director for Workday HCM to lead complex HR transformation projects across multiple delivery sites. The role combines strategy, delivery excellence, and hands-on leadership to drive client value and enterprise-wide Workday adoption.

The incumbent will manage workstreams, mentor teams, and coordinate with PMs and stakeholders in a hybrid model across Bangalore, Noida, Gurgaon, and Pune. Strong Workday expertise and certification are required.

Associate Director - Workday HCM

Location : Bangalore / Noida / Gurgaon / Pune

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client's HR Digital Transformation team. This role will be based in #Bangalore / #Noida / #Gurgaon / #Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Plan and prioritize work for self; assist lead by providing input in all the phases of the delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.

• Proven experience in managing complex projects involving Workday implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.Lead / Manage Launch Implementation projects / Your Way implementations, manage workload for the team, assist team in all the phases of the delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.Coordinate with the EM / PM and Client for project deliveryMulti-task and engage on multiple projects at a time for lead activities.End-to-end ownership of assigned projectsProvide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
• Experience in configuring and customizing Workday HCM modules to meet the specific needs of the organization.Deliver solutions for in-scope HCM, Onboarding, or Benefits, Data Conversion, Reporting, BIRT, Dashboards for implementationIdentify scope, scope gaps & get them addressedIdentify right stakeholders in the projectCommunicate & collaborate with project internal/external stakeholders for project success & plan inputsLeading or participating in Workday implementation projects from planning to execution.Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritize capacity, and define development and analysis timelinesIdentify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Mentor and Coach team membersBeing flexible to work in multiple time zones and with multiple teamsDrive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear, visible, and measurable impactResponsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality

Qualification Criteria

What you need to have:

• BE /B.Tech /MCA /BSc. Extensive experience working with clients as a Consultant to drive implementation projectsShould be Workday HCM CertifiedTotal 10+years of experience (6years in WD)Develop and implement strategies for maximizing the organization's use of the Workday platform to enhance business processes and achieve operational goals.Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Workday implementation, upgrades, and ongoing optimization projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.Manage a team of Workday professionals, including analysts, consultants, and developers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure team success.Reporting Requirements Definition - Investigate the business / technical requirements for the clients reporting needs, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.Provide a overview to the client on the reporting capabilities of WorkdayDesign the Workday solution to meet the needs.Conduct sessions with client personnel to verify the required aspects of the reporting; help them fill up reporting requirements templateApplication Testing Assist clients with the testing of the delivered reports. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.Production Support Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post-deployment.Production Rollout Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectationsIdentify and manage issue resolution, including escalation as neededInteract and communicate effectively with .
