Job summary

PwC is seeking an experienced Workday professional for a hybrid role across Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Gurugram. The candidate will lead Accounting Center/Prism configurations, drive client design sessions, and deliver end-to-end Workday Financials support with a focus on automation and data integrity.

Required is a Workday Financials certification and 3+ years of relevant experience across multiple projects, including security, reporting, and EIB development.

Qualifications

• Active Workday Financials certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Workday Financials implementations and supporting Accounting Center/Prism.
• 3+ years of relevant Workday experience across multiple projects.
• Expertise in Accounting Center processes and automation opportunities.
• Functional Workday Finance modules experience including Financial Accounting, Common Financial Management, and Projects.
• Ability to design sessions with clients and configure FDM structures and business processes.
• Hands-on EIB creation and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in resolving functional issues with in-depth Workday knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday security, calculated fields, and custom reports.
• Knowledge of various data sources and how to leverage them.
• Ability to assess Workday release updates and impacts on configurations.

Job description

• Role: Workday Accounting Prism
• Experience: 4 to 10 years
• Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Gurugram
• Mode of work: Hybrid
• Certification: Workday certification (Mandatory)

Required Skills:

1. Active Workday Financials certification.
2. At least 1 year or full implementation of Workday Financials along with end to end support on Accounting Center/Prism.
3. At least 3 years of relevant Workday experience and ability to work on multiple projects.
4. Subject Matter Expertise on Accounting Center Processes and reports while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
5. Functional experience in several Workday Finance modules like Financial Accounting, Common Financial Management, Customers, Customer Accounts, Banking and Settlement, Business Assets, Projects.
6. Ability to work with the client and drive design sessions for various Finance modules and hands on experience configuring FDM structure and business process configuration and building validation/condition rules.
7. Hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder).
8. Ability to help customers resolve functional issues requiring in depth expertise in the Workday solutions.
9. In-depth knowledge of Workday security framework, calculated fields, custom reports like Advanced/Matrix/Composite and setting up notifications.
10. In-depth knowledge of various data sources available and how to use them.
11. Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration.

Preferred Skills:

1. Good to have Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Reporting, FDM and other certifications related to Workday Finance functional areas.
2. Knowledge on using Customer Central for configuration and migration.
3. Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success working in a collaborative environment to collect and refine business requirements along with the associated development activities to deliver the appropriate reporting solutions within Workday Accounting Center;
4. Demonstrates competencies in verbal and written communication skills via experience in leading business requirements gathering and design sessions;
5. Demonstrates thorough abilities in data profiling and governance principles to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the development life cycle, and utilizes data modeling, design, and visualization tools and principles;
6. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of SQL, including database queries;
7. Serves as a subject matter expert regarding Workday Accounting Center; and

Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
