Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage and process invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.

• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date payment terms and contact details.

• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and build strong supplier relationships.

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
