Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Senior Consultant InfoArchive to design, implement, and deliver enterprise-scale OpenText InfoArchive solutions for client engagements. You will work with Professional Services teams, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful archive implementations across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise in InfoArchive components, data archiving concepts, and strong communication to translate complex tech topics for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in OpenText InfoArchive and enterprise archiving.
• Hands-on experience with Info Archive shell, SIP SDK, REST architecture and gateway.
• Knowledge of table/data archiving and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver enterprise-scale OpenText InfoArchive solutions.
• Engage with clients and consultants to document requirements and build designs.

Your Impact

As a Senior Consultant InfoArchive, you will work closely with Professional Services consultants, architects, and client stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver enterprise-scale OpenText InfoArchive solutions.

This role requires a unique blend of solution architecture, client engagement, and hands-on technical expertise across InfoArchive, enterprise applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of information archiving strategies, end-to-end business processes, and the underlying IT ecosystem required to support successful archive implementations.

What the Role Offers

• Representing OpenText in a professional manner to clients, partners and other OpenText personnel at all times
• Work with other consultants reporting to a project manager while assigned to active client engagements. Collaborate with the project manager to define the project plan, risk mitigation plan, quality checklists and regularly communicate status to the project manager. Proactively identify issues and implement preventive/remedial measures
• Understand requirements, assist client facing team members in envisioning and documenting the conduct detailed design and build, determine level of effort, and implementation approach
• Acquire OpenText Proven Certification in Info Archive Administrator
• Understand client needs and develop high-quality presentations, proposals and software demonstrations that speak of these needs.

What you need to Succeed

• Overall experience of 510 years of experience in OpenText InfoArchive and enterprise archiving solutions.
• Detailed hands-on experience in Info Archive shell, Submission Information Packages (SIP) SDK, Info Archive REST architecture, Info Archive gateway/ Web Applications.
• Thorough understanding of concepts of table archiving, data record archiving, file archiving and compound business record archiving.
• Knowledge of Installation, Administration of Info Archive Solution on Prem and /or Public Cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience in Java J2EE software development and good experience in HTML/ JavaScript, AngularJS and other web technologies.
• Experience in ETL tools like Content Bridge, Open Text Integration Center, Talend Archon other third part ETL tools used for SIP Creation.
• Knowledge of xDB and PostgreSQL (Installation, Configuration and Administration) or any other similar Database.
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and hands on experience in working on oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL server - Structural / unstructured database, query management experience.
• Knowledge on shell/bash create install application, create retention, search, configurations using encryption and masking in data ingestion and search.
• Excellent problem solving, planning, and organizing skills and flexible approach.
• Knowledge of systems architecture design planning utilizing physical and virtualized environments
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex technical topics in a manner non-technical stakeholder can easily understand

Good to Have:

• Experience with ECM platforms such as OpenText Documentum, OpenText Content Server, and CCM.
• Knowledge of SAP, PeopleSoft, and other enterprise application integrations.
• Experience with cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure,AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
• Understanding application sizing, infrastructure planning, and hardware requirements.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, internet protocols, and application security practices.
