Job summary

OpenText in Hyderabad is seeking a Software Developer to independently develop complex software for our enterprise products, taking ownership of code quality and timely delivery. You will engage in analysis, design, and planning with a focus on robust engineering practices and agile development.

You will work with modern AI frameworks and agentic AI tools, contribute to tool development, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and its libraries.
• Good understanding of AI frameworks and their practical application.
• Experience with agentic AI concepts, including development and deployment of tools and agents.
• Hands-on experience working with LangGraph/LangChain.

As a Software Developer, you will independently develop complex software while taking ownership of code quality and timely delivery. You will play an active role in analysis, design, and planning, helping the team resolve issues quickly and adopt strong engineering practices, including agile development and test-driven development.

Mandatory

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Python: Strong, hands-on experience with Python and its libraries.
• AI Frameworks: Good understanding of AI frameworks and their practical application.
• AI Agents: Experience with agentic AI concepts, including the development and deployment of tools and agents.
• Hands-on experience working with LangGraph/LangChain

Additional Requirements

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/MBA/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of enterprise product development experience.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, design, and coding skills.
• Proficiency in REST API implementation and consuming different APIs.
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks based on object-oriented JavaScript, such as BackboneJS or AngularJS.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to information management.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and learning agility.
• Experience with regression testing.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Content management domain experience is a plus.
