Job summary

Anlage Infotech (India) P Ltd in Chennai requires an experienced Windows and Citrix administrator for a long-term, permanent payroll role with an MNC client. Immediate joiners or those available within 10 days are preferred.

You will handle Active Directory, GPOs, domain controllers, and VMware-based infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning backups, patch management, and security policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Windows and Citrix environments.
• Strong Active Directory expertise including GPOs, domain/forest management, LDAP integration, and security policies.
• Experience with VMware ESX and storage/backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and upgrade domain controllers; configure and monitor AD replication and LDAP settings.
• Implement and tune forest-wide LDAP/AD settings and security policies.
• Perform patch management and server backups; coordinate hardware/software upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Advanced Active Directory skills including GPOs, building, and upgrading domains, forests, RODC server core, site topology, domain & trust, LDAP integration with apps, security/delegation control, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Schema update and certificate trust.
• Adding and removing domain controllers.
• Managing and monitoring replication.
• Ensuring the proper assignment and configuration of operations master roles.
• Performing regular backups of the directory database.
• Configuring forest-wide Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) settings.
• Managing domain and domain controller security policies.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft servers.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot standard hardware and firmware (currently IBM)
• Provide support for server backup & monitoring.
• Provide support for File/Print/Anti-virus servers.
• Coordinate with business units and IT staff in regions proposals for upgrade and or implementation of new technologies/services as well as procurement of hardware and software
• Participate in patch management for Windows servers.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Management including user management, GPOs, building and upgrading domains & forests.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS internals, registries, permissions
• Familiarity with performance analysis using performance monitoring.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols (DNS, ICMP, SMB, SSL/TLS, etc.)
