Job summary

Datavail Career Site is seeking an experienced System Administrator in Mumbai to manage complex Windows environments, cloud infra on AWS/Azure, and 24/7 IT operations. The role requires hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Citrix, AD/DNS/DHCP, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.

The candidate should have 6–10 years in end-user IT support, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to lead server projects while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in end-user IT support with AD, Exchange and networking.
• Experience with Citrix, AWS, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Strong Linux knowledge and disaster recovery planning.
• Proficient in ITIL processes.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Ability to manage multiple application environments.
• Proactive in 24/7 support and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot complex Windows environments (e.g., clustering, high availability, load balancing).
• Support cloud infra on AWS/Azure platform.
• Hands-on with backup and restore technologies.
• Handle IT project rollout in Server domain.
• Configure and maintain Hyper-V.
• Configure and manage antivirus.
• O365 configuration and management.
• VPN configuration and management.
• Monitor and configure logging of devices/endpoints.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Hyper-V cluster issues.
• Manage load balancing devices.
• Configure and manage SAN/NAS storage.
• Troubleshoot replication at Windows/storage level.
• Work on Azure/AWS/Hyper-V/Nutanix platforms.
• Monitor server performance (disk, CPU, memory).
• Blue dump analysis.
• Troubleshoot port communication issues.
• Configure Print Servers.
• Patch servers using WSUS/tools.
• New server VM builds & in-place OS upgrades.
• File & Print server migration.
• Maintain auditing and logging of servers/endpoints.
• Install/configure network services like AD, DNS, DHCP, File & Print in Windows.
• Config management with Ansible, Terraform.
• Troubleshoot AD replication issues.
• Manage AD, GPO, DNS & DHCP.
• Manage Hyper-V environment.
• Work on performance servers.
• Server management via ILO.
• On-call support for high-priority issues.
• Follow ITIL (Change, Incident, Problem).
• Willing to work 24/7 and extended hours.

Education: Bachelor's degree (Technical)
Experience: At least 6 to 10 years of experience in end user IT support with Active Directory, Exchange, server, Antivirus, Citrix and networking knowledge.

Skills:

• In-depth Windows (2016 and higher versionsWin11 & Higher versions) Linux & High Availability, Load Balancing, and Disaster Recovery.
• Exchange, Security products, MCSE, AWS, Hyper -V, Nutanix, Citrix, SAN, NAS, virtual Platform experience. ITIL, Cisco IPT (not must but good if have expertise).
• Troubleshooting complex issues
• Hands-on experience on configuration management like Ansible, terraform.
• Ability to install and manage multiple application environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Server hardware, Lenovo Laptops hardware
• In-depth networking background
• VPN Endpoint troubleshooting.
• 24/7 Support.
