Job summary

Godrej Infotech Ltd in Mumbai seeks an experienced System Administrator to support mission critical Windows-based applications. The role requires 2-4+ years of experience, readiness to work in 24/7 shifts, and a proactive stance on security and uptime.

You will install and configure Windows OS, harden systems, manage file servers, DNS/DHCP, and Active Directory while coordinating with hardware vendors for timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Windows OS installation & configuration and upgrades OS hardening & applying security updates
• Experience in File Server management
• Troubleshooting Windows Server performance issues
• Experience with Monitoring Infrastructure using tools like SolarWinds
• Monitoring of scheduled jobs - system backups & data recovery
• Interfaces with hardware vendors to maintain and schedule repair of equipment

Responsibilities

• Install, configure Windows OS and perform OS hardening and security updates
• Manage file servers and Active Directory services
• Troubleshoot Windows Server performance and monitor with SolarWinds
• Coordinate hardware vendor repairs and maintenance as needed
• Oversee backups and data recovery processes
