Job summary

Aanseacore in Pune is seeking a Windows Desktop L2 Engineer to provide advanced technical support and manage end-user computing across local and global sites.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, system stability, asset lifecycle, and user support aligned with IT governance and ITIL processes. Collaboration with Plant/OT teams is required for critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Electronics or related field.
• 2-3 years of Windows Desktop/L2 support experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, AD, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, WSUS, OS deployment and patching.
• Proficient in hardware, software, printers, scanners, laptops, desktops, and network issues.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, LAN/WAN, VPN.
• IT Asset Management, CMDB/ITAM, inventory and warranty tracking.
• Knowledge of ITIL, incident management, SLAs and service desk processes.
• Experience supporting shop-floor/production IT systems preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, problem solving and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, OS, and network issues escalated from L1.
• Manage Active Directory/Azure AD, user accounts, onboarding/offboarding, and access provisioning.
• Handle OS deployment, patching, antivirus, and endpoint security using SCCM/Intune/WSUS.
• Support shop-floor/production IT systems and coordinate with Plant/OT teams during critical incidents.
• Manage IT hardware, software licenses, inventory, CMDB/ITAM records, and asset lifecycle.
• Provide VIP support and ensure incidents are resolved within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with global IT teams for IT rollouts, infrastructure support, and compliance with global IT standards.
• Support basic infrastructure including network devices, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity, UPS, CCTV, and access-control systems.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Windows Desktop/L2 Support, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID.
