Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Windchill Architect to lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale PLM solutions. You will shape roadmaps, translate business needs into scalable Windchill architectures, and drive integrations with SAP, ERP, MES, and CRM.

The role demands 12+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in Windchill, deep knowledge of Windchill data models, APIs, and CAD integrations (Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of IT experience with at least 8+ years hands-on Windchill PLM experience.
• Strong expertise in architecting and delivering large-scale Windchill implementations.
• Deep understanding of Windchill Data Model, WTPart, EPMDocument and related modules.
• Extensive Windchill configuration, customization, and solution design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill APIs, Windchill REST Services (WRS), Info*Engine, and Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, JSON, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience integrating Windchill with SAP/ ERP, MES, and other enterprise applications.
• CAD integrations across Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of PLM implementation methodologies, governance, and ALM.
• Experience with Windchill upgrades, cloud transformation, and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Windchill PLM solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable Windchill architectures.
• Design solutions across PDM, PLM, Change, Document, Classification, and PSM.

• Lead fit-gap assessments, architecture reviews, and technical governance.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Guide teams through configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and support.

Your Role

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, program managers, and enterprise architects to define PLM transformation roadmaps.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and sustainable Windchill solution architectures.
• Design and implement solutions across Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Change Management, Document Management, Classification, and Product Structure Management.
• Define application architecture, system integrations, data models, security frameworks, and deployment strategies.
• Architect integrations between Windchill and enterprise systems including SAP, ERP, MES, ALM, CRM, and engineering applications.
• Lead fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and technical governance activities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, performance standards, scalability requirements, and compliance guidelines.
• Guide implementation teams through configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and support phases.

Your Profile

• Minimum 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill PLM.
• Strong expertise in architecting and delivering large-scale Windchill implementation and transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of Windchill Data Model, WTPart, EPMDocument, Product Structure Management, Change Management, Document Management, Lifecycle Management, Workflow, and Classification.
• Extensive experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill APIs, Windchill REST Services (WRS), Info*Engine, and Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, JSON, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience integrating Windchill with SAP, ERP systems, MES platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Expertise in CAD integrations including Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of PLM implementation methodologies, solution governance, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Windchill upgrades, cloud transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of infrastructure architecture, security frameworks, performance optimization, and high-availability solutions.
