Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Windchill developer to design, customize, and support PLM solutions using Java and Windchill APIs. You will configure workflows, lifecycles, and rules, and build InfoEngine tasks, JSPs, and reports to meet business needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on global PLM transformation initiatives, leveraging Windchill PDMLink and related modules to deliver scalable, high-quality implementations.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of Windchill development and customization.
• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill customization frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Windchill APIs, JSP, Servlets, and InfoEngine.
• Experience customizing workflows, lifecycles, OIRs, ACLs, business rules, and object types.
• Hands-on experience with QML Reports and Jasper Reports development.
• Strong understanding of Windchill PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management, and Product Structure Management.

Your Profile

• Develop, customize, and enhance PTC Windchill solutions using Java and Windchill APIs.
• Configure and customize Windchill workflows, lifecycles, object initialization rules (OIRs), access controls, and business rules.
• Develop and support Info*Engine tasks, JSPs, Servlets, custom actions, listeners, validators, and services.
• Create and maintain QML and Jasper Reports to support business reporting needs.
• Implement custom Windchill components based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, defect fixing, and technical issue resolution.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality PLM solutions.

Your Role
