Serendipity Corporate Services seeks an embedded Wi‑Fi engineer to design and develop modules for IVI systems running Android AOSP and Linux. You will implement AP/STA/P2P features and work across the stack—from driver to application—addressing root causes and performance issues.
You will analyze sniffer logs/pcap traces and collaborate with BSP, hardware, and systems teams to meet certification and stability goals in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Design and develop Wi-Fi software modules for IVI systems on Android (AOSP) and Linux platforms
Implement and enhance Wi-Fi features including Access Point (AP), Station (STA), and Wi-Fi Direct (P2P)
Work on end-to-end feature development across the Wi-Fi stack, including driver, framework, and application layers
Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and issue resolution across development, integration, and maintenance phases
Analyze Wi-Fi sniffer logs and pcap traces to troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BSP, hardware, and system integration teams
Ensure compliance with Wi-Fi Alliance certification requirements
Contribute to system stability, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong expertise in Wi-Fi features within IVI systems
Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Java programming
Hands‑on experience with Android AOSP and Linux-based infotainment environments
In‑depth knowledge of Wi‑Fi standards: 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax
Strong understanding of Wi‑Fi security protocols: WPA2, WPA3
Solid understanding of Android and Linux networking stack
Expertise in Wi‑Fi packet capture, sniffer tools, and pcap analysis
Experience in executing and supporting Wi‑Fi Alliance certification
