Job summary

Karnex Software Solutions is seeking a Wi-Fi Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru, India, with 3-5 years of experience in embedded software and Linux-based systems, preferably in the automotive domain.

Candidates should be strong in Java, C, and C++, with hands-on work on Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), AP/STA/P2P features, and Linux networking architecture from application layer to HostAPD. Android development experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in embedded software, Wi‑Fi technologies, and Linux-based systems.
• Automotive domain experience preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C and C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop Wi‑Fi features for AP/STA/GO/P2P in 2.4G/5G/6G bands.
• Contribute to Linux architecture from application layer to HostAPD/Supplicants.
• Work on Wi‑Fi drivers for vendors like NXP, Infineon, Broadcom and Qualcomm.
• Plus Android development experience is desirable.

Role & responsibilities

• Programming Language : Strong in Java / C / C++
• OS: Linux Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development, system programming using IPC, synchronization primitives
• Should have knowledge of all Wi-Fi protocols ranging
  802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
• Should have experience in working on Wi-Fi features for
  AP/STA/AGO/P2P in 2.4G/5G/6G bands
• Should know the basics of PCIE drivers for Wi-Fi transport.
• Should have the knowledge of the linux Wi-Fi Architecture ranging from Application layer to the HostAPD/Supplicants.
• Should have an hands on experience on Wi-Fi Drivers for vendors viz. NXP, Infineon, Broadcom & Qualcomm.
• Should have hands-on Experience on the Android development.
