Job summary

skcc is seeking a full-time, on-site Wheel Loader Operator in Meerut. You will safely operate wheel loaders to move, load, and transport materials at the worksite, following all safety protocols and site instructions.

Daily duties include pre- and post-operation inspections, reporting any issues to supervisors, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and coordinating with other operators to ensure efficient material handling on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safe operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to read work plans and safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and enter/exit equipment.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license as required locally.
• Good attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Reliable and able to work with site teams.
• Experience on Meerut construction sites is an advantage.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Wheel Loader Operator role located in Meerut. The Wheel Loader Operator will be responsible for safely operating wheel loaders to move, load, and transport materials within the worksite, following all safety protocols and site instructions. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, reporting any mechanical issues, and coordinating with site supervisors and other equipment operators to ensure efficient material handling. The role involves maintaining cleanliness around the equipment, adhering to traffic and loading guidelines, and supporting general site operations as needed. The operator is expected to follow company policies, comply with local regulations, and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment in construction, mining, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safe equipment operation, basic machine maintenance, and site safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, work plans, and safety guidelines; basic numerical and measurement skills.
• Physical ability to work in outdoor conditions, stand for extended periods, and safely enter/exit heavy equipment.
• Valid heavy equipment or relevant operator license/certification as required by local regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and ability to respond calmly to changing site conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with supervisors, co-workers, and site teams.
• Previous experience on construction sites in Meerut or similar locations is an advantage; familiarity with local safety standards is beneficial.
