Job summary

Guru Ramdas Constructions is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to manage and operate a range of machinery on construction sites across India. The role focuses on safe operation, routine maintenance, and coordination with site teams.

Candidates should have substantial experience with heavy equipment including POCLAIN, JCB, Vajra, RMC/Baching/Crusher plants, and be ready for project-based site work with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating heavy machinery and site safety procedures.
• Licence/certification relevant to heavy equipment operation where applicable.
• Willingness to work at project sites across India.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction and infrastructure machinery safely and efficiently.
• Operate heavy equipment including POCLAIN, Tyre JCB, Vajra, Loader, Excavator, Roller, Grader, HYVA, Dumper.
• Operate RMC Plant, Batching Plant and Crusher Plant as per project requirements.
• Perform excavation, loading, unloading, grading, compaction, material shifting and other site activities.
• Conduct daily basic machine/plant checks and report issues.
• Follow safety rules, site instructions and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Mechanics and other operators.
• Maintain proper care, cleanliness and safe handling of machinery.

Job description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate construction and infrastructure machinery safely and efficiently.
• Operate POCLAIN, TYRE JCB, VAJRA, LOADER, EXCAVATOR, ROLLER, GRADER, HYVA, DUMPER and other heavy equipment.
• Operate RMC PLANT, BATCHING PLANT and CRUSHER PLANT as per project requirements.
• Perform excavation, loading, unloading, grading, compaction, material shifting and other site activities.
• Conduct daily basic machine/plant checks and report technical or maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety rules, site instructions and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Mechanics and other operators.
• Maintain proper care, cleanliness and safe handling of machinery.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 25 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, road work, plant or mining projects preferred.
• Experience in Poclain, Tyre JCB, Vajra, Heavy Machine, Loader, Excavator, Roller, Grader, HYVA, Dumper, RMC Plant, Batching Plant or Crusher Plant operation.
• Good knowledge of machine/plant operation and basic safety procedures.
• Relevant licence/certification where applicable.
• Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to work at project sites across India.
