Job summary

Chennai Radha Engineering Works (CREW) seeks a hands-on site technician to support site preparation, material handling, and equipment maintenance on our construction projects in Tamil Nadu. The role requires safety-conscious work and effective communication with site teams.

Diploma holders with relevant licenses are encouraged to apply. The position involves outdoor, rugged work and operation of heavy machinery on active sites.

Qualifications

• Valid license for heavy commercial vehicle or heavy machinery operation is required.
• Diploma or equivalent (10th/12th/Diploma) is acceptable as education.
• Ability to operate front loader and rear excavator attachments with precision.

Responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Excavation duties as described in the ad.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Excavation: Digging trenches, foundations, and holes, as well as clearing land and grading surfaces.
• Material Handling: Loading soil, gravel, and construction materials into trucks, and backfilling excavated areas.
• Machine Maintenance: Conducting daily inspections, checking fluid levels, performing routine maintenance, and reporting mechanical faults.
• Safety & Compliance: Following strict on-site safety rules, assessing ground stability, and avoiding underground utilities.
• Coordination: Communicating with site engineers and supervisors to follow work schedules and log daily operations

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:10th/12th/Diploma(Preferred)

• Valid License: A heavy commercial vehicle driving license or specific heavy-machinery operating certification.
• Technical Skills: Precision control of both the front loader and rear excavator attachments.
• Physical & Practical Aptitude: Ability to work in outdoor, rugged environments and basic literacy for maintaining vehicle logbooks
