Job summary

Tata Electronics in India is seeking a senior process engineer to lead transfer, development, optimization, and troubleshooting of WET etch processes. The role focuses on driving yield improvements and reducing costs while mentoring teammates and standardizing best practices across operations.

The candidate should bring strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with experience in structured methods such as 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA to resolve complex process deviations and ensure safety/EHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering or PhD.
• 5+ Years of relevant WET etch experience.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise with structured problem-solving methods (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA)

Responsibilities

• Support equipment and process audits, process document updates.
• Investigate and resolve process deviations using structured problem-solving
• Lead advanced process transfer & development, optimization, qualification, and troubleshooting. Define control strategies for yield and reliability.
• Solve complex process issues using 8D, fishbone and 5 whys methos, FEMA. Drive cross-functional yield improvement and cost reduction methods.
• Mentor junior process engineers, standardize process best practices. Ensure compliance with safety and EHS across process operations.
