Job summary

WedMeGood: India's Favourite Wedding Planning Platform is looking for a senior wedding designer to conceptualize premium decor concepts based on client requirements, themes, venues, and latest trends.

You will develop mood boards, style guides, design decks, layouts and floral concepts; translate ideas into production drawings; coordinate with vendors; review outputs for quality; and stay updated on fashion, decor and event design trends.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of wedding decor, styling, production, and florals.
• Excellent aesthetic sense with a keen eye for colour, composition, materials, layouts, and detailing.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Ability to create professional design presentations, mood boards, layouts, and production drawings.
• Strong understanding of production processes and the ability to work with vendors and execution teams.
• Good communication, project management, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, Event Design, or a related educational background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for wedding decor, stage setups, guest areas, tablescapes, installations, and overall venue styling.

• Translate creative concepts into practical designs while keeping production feasibility and budgets in mind.
• Coordinate with production teams, decorators, florists, fabricators, and other vendors to ensure accurate execution.
• Review designs, drawings, samples, and production outputs to maintain quality and design consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest wedding, fashion, decor, floral, and event design trends.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and wedding teams on creative requirements and brand-led projects.
• Take ownership of projects from conceptualization to final execution design, set design, or a related field.
