Job summary

Smart Work Consultants in Karur, Tamil Nadu, seeks an experienced Weaving Production Planning professional to manage weaving schedules, optimize loom utilization, ensure timely fabric delivery and align plans with customer requirements.

You will coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, and Quality teams; monitor loom capacity and inputs; produce MIS reports; and drive production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly weaving production plans.
• Plan loom allocation based on orders, fabric specifications, capacity, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, and Quality teams.
• Monitor loom capacity, production progress, and order status.
• Ensure timely availability of yarn, beams, designs, and other inputs.
• Track production against planned quantities and identify delays.
• Follow up with weaving teams and outsourced weaving units where applicable.
• Optimize loom utilization, production efficiency, and capacity.
• Prioritize urgent orders and revise production schedules when required.
• Monitor fabric requirements and ensure timely completion of weaving orders.
• Prepare production planning reports, MIS, and pending order status.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure production plans are aligned with customer delivery commitments.
