Job summary

Smart Work Consultants is seeking an experienced Weaving Production Planning professional to manage weaving schedules, ensure loom utilization, and deliver fabrics on time per customer requirements. You will prepare daily/weekly/monthly plans, allocate looms based on orders and capacity, and coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, and other teams to keep production on track.

Ideal candidates have home textile manufacturing experience, loom capacity planning know-how, and strong

Qualifications

• Weaving Production Planning & Scheduling experience in textile industry.
• Home Textile/textile manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of loom capacity planning and PPC concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/textile software for planning.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and communication.
• Ability to monitor production progress and MIS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, monthly weaving plans.
• Plan loom allocation based on orders, specs, capacity, delivery.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, Quality.
• Monitor loom capacity, progress and order status.
• Ensure yarn, beams, designs, inputs are available on time.
• Track production against plan and identify delays.
• Follow up with weaving teams and outsourcing units.
• Optimize loom utilization and production efficiency.
• Prioritize urgent orders and revise schedules as needed.
• Prepare planning reports, MIS, and pending order status.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure plans align with customer delivery commitments.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Weaving Production Planning professional to manage and coordinate weaving production schedules, ensuring optimum loom utilization, timely production, and on-time delivery of fabric as per customer requirements.

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly weaving production plans
  
• Plan loom allocation based on orders, fabric specifications, capacity, and delivery schedules
  
• Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, and Quality teams
  
• Monitor loom capacity, production progress, and order status
  
• Ensure timely availability of yarn, beams, designs, and other production inputs
  
• Track production against planned quantities and identify delays
  
• Follow up with weaving teams and outsourced weaving units, wherever applicable
  
• Optimize loom utilization, production efficiency, and capacity
  
• Prioritize urgent orders and revise production schedules when required
  
• Monitor fabric requirements and ensure timely completion of weaving orders
  
• Prepare production planning reports, MIS, and pending order status
  
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions
  
• Ensure production plans are aligned with customer delivery commitments
