Job description

Desktop Support Executive

Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane / Kalyan. Experience: 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Responding to client support request by telephone, remote support or in person support
• Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem
• Travelling to the client’s location or connecting via a remote link
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Log call with OEM service center if systems are covered under warranty
• Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals
• Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software
• Troubleshooting networking and connection issues
• Advising on software or hardware upgrades
• Providing basic training in computer operation and management
• Completing job reports and ordering supplies

Qualifications

• BSC IT/ BCA or Diploma / Degree of Engineering
• Hands on experience of Desktop / laptop / Network Troubleshooting
• Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
• Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary
• Good Written and verbal communication skills
