Lenskart in Hyderabad is seeking an Optometrist who combines eye care with sales, performing eye examinations, dispensing and diagnosing while supporting customer experience.

You will conduct comprehensive eye tests, diagnose and treat common conditions, prescribe lenses, and assist with stock, SOPs, and POS transactions to ensure a seamless clinic and retail workflow.

Formación

• Diploma in Optometry (minimum) is required.
• Preferred B.Sc Optometry.

Responsabilidades

• Comprehensive Eye Examinations: eye tests, refraction and ocular health screenings.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: manage common eye conditions and prescribe medications.
• Vision Correction: prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Sales and customer service: drive NPS, assist walk-in customers, stocktakes, and SOPs.

Role:

The role of an Optometrist at Lenskart is different from competing brands and is not limited to only eye check-ups but also includes sales as a critical deliverable. He/she plays a key role in delivering technical expertise through eye-checks, dispensing, and diagnosis as well as selling products, executing stocktakes and SOPs to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Area Activities expected to be performed by a Lenskart Optometrist Customer focus: Driving Net Promoter ScoreGreeting and welcoming all walk-in customers and guiding them toward the clinic to promote the free eye check-upBeing involved in stocktakes, maintaining sales floor standards, and other day-to-day tasks to deliver the best shopping experience to the customersUnderstanding the POS system to ensure that the transactions are processed effectivelyBeing dedicated to customer satisfaction and resolving any concerns that the customer has

• Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Conducting eye tests, including refraction and ocular health screenings, using specialized optometric equipment.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnosing and managing common eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye, and prescribing appropriate medications.
• Vision Correction: Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses) and other vision aids.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma in Optometry (minimum) qualification required.Preferred B.Sc Optometry
