WIRTGEN INDIA Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks a senior Warranty and Field Quality leader to govern warranty policy, ensure evidence-based decisions, and drive continuous improvement across HAMM, Voegele and related product lines. You will own the warranty governance, ageings analyses and supplier coordination.

You will lead a team, manage campaigns, and coordinate with OEMs and Finance to secure timely support and recoveries, while upholding contractual terms and safety standards.

  • Warranty Strategy and Governance
  • Define and implement the pan-India warranty strategy, policy, authority matrix, standard operating proce-dures, controls and service-level expectations.
  • Ensure warranty decisions are consistent, evidence-based, commercially responsible and aligned with contractual terms and OEM guidelines.
  • Own governance for claim ageing, pending documentation, rejections, appeals, recoveries, goodwill cas-es and high-value or technically complex claims.
  • Periodically review warranty processes, controls and systems; close audit gaps and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee scrutiny of Failure Analysis Reports (FARs), service records, photographs, failed-part evidence and field inputs for HAMM, Voegele and other assigned product lines.
  • Provide final technical and commercial direction for escalated claims and ensure closure within approved timelines in coordination with field teams, German OEMs, suppliers, Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Establish robust claim documentation standards and reduce avoidable delays, repeat submissions and disputes.
  • Own identification and prioritisation of the major contributors to field quality and reliability concerns using Service CRM, warranty data, quality reports, field visit reports and regional Product Support inputs.
  • Lead periodic Top-25 field issue reviews with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchase, Product Support and suppliers; assign owners, timelines and closure criteria.
  • Sponsor structured root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action using appropriate problem-solving methods, and verify field effectiveness after implementation.
  • Prepare or approve field instructions and SOPs when redesigned or modified parts require replacement, alteration or validation on operating machines.
  • Approve, plan and govern field campaigns for inspection, modification or replacement of parts, including population identification, material planning, technician readiness, communication, risk control and closure tracking.
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions with OEMs and suppliers to secure appropriate warranty acceptance, recovery, corrective action and timely support.
  • Drive supplier accountability through evidence-based reviews, ageing analysis, recovery status, repeat-failure trends and agreed improvement plans.
  • Partner with Finance, Administration and Purchase for warranty-related provisions, supplier payments, paid field support, parts purchases and service assets such as vehicles and tools.
  • Act as the senior point of escalation for regional teams, customers and internal stakeholders on major warranty and product reliability matters.
  • Own the warranty MIS and management dashboard covering claim volume and ageing, ac-ceptance/rejection, cost and recovery, repeat failures, customer complaints, campaign status and quali-ty/reliability actions.
  • Present monthly insights, risks and decisions required to senior leadership and lead periodic Quality and Reliability reviews.
  • Develop forecasting and trend analysis to support warranty provisioning, parts planning, product im-provement priorities and resource allocation.
  • Drive digitisation, data quality and system integration across Service CRM, warranty records and related reporting sources.
  • Lead, coach and develop the warranty team; define responsibilities, decision rights, performance measures, review mechanisms and backup arrangements.
  • Build capability across field and regional teams in failure reporting, evidence collection, claim documenta-tion, root-cause analysis and warranty policy application.
  • Promote cross-functional ownership, disciplined execution, timely escalation and knowledge sharing across the service network.
  • Ensure Environment, Health and Safety requirements are embedded in field investigations, joint visits, campaigns and workshop activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, record-retention requirements, commercial controls, confidentiality obligations and delegated authority.
  • Identify warranty, product, customer and financial risks early and establish appropriate mitigation and escalation.
