Job summary

TM Automotive seating system Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks a senior quality leader to own Central Warranty & Customer activities.

The role focuses on handling warranty cases, interfacing with OEM customers, and monitoring process performance through data and charts such as QRE, CPA, IPPM, CPPM andWarranty. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Foam/Trims/Welding/Functional Mechanism/Assembly, and a Six Sigma belt certification (Green/Black).

Qualifications

• Graduate in Diploma / Mechanical Engineer / B Tech with 15–20 years of work experience.
• Quality experience in seat/interior component manufacturing / automobile industry.
• Hands-on experience with warranty processes and OEM customer quality requirements.
• Proven knowledge of Quality & Process Operations and ability to implement standards.
• Exposure to Foam/Trims/Welding/Functional Mechanism/Assembly and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Quality procedures with shop floor staff, and react to deviations.
• Manage warranty inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials.
• Develop QA/QC goals, policies, and tools; monitor performance with defined metrics.

Role & responsibilities

Position Title: Central Warranty & Customer

Business Unit: TM Automotive seating system Pvt. Ltd.

Reporting to:Central QA Head / COO

Location:Pune

Job Profile:

• Should have sound knowledge about Car Seats manufacturing.

• Must have handled warranty case.

• Monitoring process performance by gathering relevant data and collecting & analyzing performance

data and charts against defined parameters.i.e. QRE, CPA, IPPM, CPPM and Warranty.

• Should have hands on in handling OEM Customers quality requirements, ensure customer

satisfaction.

• Should have hands on experience on Foam/ Trims/ Welding /Functional Mechanism /Assembly.
• Should have hands-on exposure to Six Sigma methodologies with a preference for certified Green

Belt or Black Belt.

• Hands on knowledge on Quality function, QC tools, SPC, ISO/TS 16949 System & its

requirements,5S, Kaizen, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, POKA YOKE, Visual Controls Etc.,

• Hands on experience in maintaining work instructions and skill matrix at shop floor.
• Ensure implementation of customer specific requirements into our Quality Standards and

Processes.

• Defining Quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff to apply. Come out with the reactive

and proactive interventions in case of deviations.

• Manage and maintain the companys quality inspection and product release programs for incoming

and in-process materials and formulate the development and implementation of QA/QC goals,

objectives, policies, procedures and systems.

Educational Qualification & required job experience:

• Graduate in Diploma / Mechanical Engineer / B Tech or equivalent with around 15 yrs- 20 yrs work

experience.
