A leading automobile manufacturer is looking for a Shift Incharge to oversee warehouse operations in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, monitor unloading processes, maintain inventory levels, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. This role requires strong coordination with sales and other departments, with a focus on operational excellence and safety.
Qualifications
5-11 years experience preferred, especially up to 8 years.
Experience in warehouse operations is necessary.
Candidates must come from UGC/AICTE approved institutes.
Responsibilities
Oversee warehouse operations as Shift Incharge.
Monitor vehicle unloading and manage inventory variance.
Maintain order to dispatch ratios and ensure safety.
Perpetual/annual inventory, variance reporting and countermeasures to reduce variances.
Coordinate domestic and export dispatches ensuring timely, quality delivery.
Maintain order to dispatch ratio; ensure safety, 5S and MHE procurement & maintenance.
Approve purchases for MHE and related service contracts (AMC/CMC).
Cross-functional activities with Sales for load distribution; review with vendors/service providers/transporters.
Audit activities: ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 internal and external audits.
Management reporting: monthly sectional/departmental reviews and daily MIS reporting to heads.
