Job summary

CTS Group is hiring for a Logistics Operator / Warehouse Worker at the Oragadam campus near Chennai. The role supports production campus data centers by handling deliveries, warehousing, and dispatch activities on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse/logistics, holds a 12th standard or ITI, and may have a logistics diploma. Forklift certification and familiarity with WMS/ERP are preferred. The job requires physical work and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or stores operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries, verify quantities and condition against delivery notes and POs.
• Unload, sort, and store materials in warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for dispatch to production lines or external destinations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and hand trolleys.
• Update inventory records and stock movements in the WMS/ERP system.
• Support periodic stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and yard area in line with 5S.
• Assist with loading/unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling.
• Follow HSE procedures, PPE usage, and safe manual handling.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams on material availability.

CTS Group/CTS Asia - Part of CTS Group is hiring Logistics Operator / Warehouse Worker for its growing Data Center engineering & delivery teams in Oragadam, Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries, verify quantities and condition against delivery notes and purchase orders, and flag discrepancies or damage.
• Unload, sort, and store materials and equipment in designated warehouse locations, following layout and labelling procedures.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for dispatch to production lines, project sites, or external destinations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and hand trolleys in line with safety procedures.
• Update inventory records and stock movements in the warehouse management system (WMS/ERP) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support periodic stock counts and cycle counts, and help investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and yard area in line with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers, ensuring correct handling of materials to avoid damage.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at all times, including use of PPE and safe manual handling techniques.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams on material availability, shortages, and delivery schedules.

Required Skills and Experience

• Higher secondary education (12th standard) or ITI qualification; a diploma in logistics/supply chain is an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or stores operations, ideally in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment; valid forklift license/certification preferred.
• Basic computer literacy, with experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP/Excel) for stock recording.
• Familiarity with goods receipt, put-away, picking, and dispatch processes.
• Understanding of basic health and safety practices in a warehouse setting, including safe manual handling and PPE use.
• Ability to work in a physically active role, including lifting, standing, and moving materials for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts as required to support project and dispatch schedules.
