Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support efficient warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of materials. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work onsite at our Kancheepuram facility.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting materials, keeping accurate inventory, and ensuring FIFO/JIT practices with proper labelling and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma qualification, or equivalent warehouse-related experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in warehouse operations or stores assistance.
• Basic working knowledge of ERP/WMS, Excel systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials as per standard operating procedures.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials based on production and dispatch requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory through stock records, cycle counts, and physical inventory support.
• Ensure proper labelling, identification, First In First Out (FIFO),Just in time (JIT) practices, and material segregation.
• Follow EHS, safety, PPE, and 5S standards and report any unsafe conditions immediately.

Job Description

As a Warehouse Operator, you will support efficient and accurate warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of materials.

Your Responsibilities

The Essentials - You Will Have

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Exposure from Sheet metal, automotive, engineering, FMCG, or logistics background.
• Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement programs.
• Hands-on experience with material handling equipment.
