Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure that the warehouse adheres to all health and safety regulations.
• Identify and address potential hazards, ensure proper training on safety equipment, and enforce safety policies.
• Plan and manage warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency and improve productivity.
• Ensure that products are stored in an organized manner and that the warehouse environment is clean, safe, and efficient.
• Experience in material handling and warehouse operation including good hand on SAP.
• Oversee and lead a team of warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, packers, and other roles including 3PL manpower
• Ensuring the resources & Equipment availability for Dispatch and material shifting.
• Good understanding of technical aspects of Auto Warehouse ASRS, AGV, AMR , Manual Material Handling Equipment like Forklift , Reach truck , Stackers
• Co-ordination with Logistics team, Transporter & supplier for consignment.
• Contractor safety management / training and validation
• Shifting & Re-shifting of Finished Products to other Locations for maintaining FIFO wherever required
• Monitoring Truck Movement, Loading of FG / Unloading of RM and maintaining good housekeeping as per standards.
• Shifting & Re-shifting of Finished Products to other Locations for maintaining FIFO wherever required
• Monitor and control Unsafe act and conditions in Warehouse.
• Large to Medium scale Warehouse / Packaging machinery related work allocation and its supervision
• Contractor manpower handling in rotating shifts
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

• Logical problem-solving abilities, high degree of integrity

• Awareness / working on various automation trend in material handling system

• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary (Spare Management).

• Keep various activities logs and report (i.e. PM, CM & BM).

Preferred candidate profile

• Exposure to SAP system / MS Office / Power point presentation
• Sound knowledge of Warehouse / packaging machines operation & maintenance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
