Job summary

Fertin India in Goa seeks a Stores Executive to manage receipt of materials, GRN preparation, and timely documentation to Finance. You will perform daily weight verification, calibration, and maintain stores per cGMP requirements.

The role covers material management, disposal of obsolete items, and online documentation of quality systems. Responsibilities include dispensing materials per production needs, maintaining accurate ERP records, and coordinating with Operations and QA.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of materials in Stores department and GRN preparation.
• Provide necessary documents to Finance on time after GRN preparation.
• Daily weight verification using weighing balance and monthly calibration of balance.
• Maintain daily cleaning of Stores area and online documentation.
• Manage materials storage, receipts, issues, dispensing, reconciliation, and transfers per storage guidelines.
• Control obsolete and expired inventory.
• Online documentation of quality system documents (BMR, Logbooks).
• Participate in validation batches and process/equipment/ instrument qualifications.
• Dispense raw materials and packing materials with proper verification.
• Handle return of excess material from production and update batch status.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for receipt of materials in Stores department and GRN preparation.
• Responsible to provide the necessary documents to Finance department on timely basis after preparation of GRNs.
• Carry out weight verification of weighing balance on daily basis.
• Carry out calibration of balance on monthly basis.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of Stores area, Utensils and their online documentation in Stores Department.
• Material Management as per storage condition of Raw material, Packing material, Finished goods, General & Tools including Receipts, Issues, Dispensing, and Reconciliation & Transfers.
• Control on Obsolete & Expired inventory.
• Execution of Online documentation of quality system Documents like BMR and Logbooks etc.
• Active involvement in manufacturing of validation batches as per Fertins requirement.
• Execution of Process validation, cleaning validation and qualification of equipments/ instruments/ machines.
• Verification and Involvement in dispensing of Raw material and Packing material.
• Active involvement in accepting the Return of Excess material from Production.
• Updating the status label after every batch, product change over, process stage changes etc.
• Provide compliance to the reviewed batch records.
• Inform superior at time of equipment / instruments / machine breakdown or in case of maintenance work.
• Responsible for preparation and destruction of disinfectant solution required for daily cleaning of Stores area, Utensils and their online documentation in Stores Department.
• Maintaining Stores Department as per cGMP requirements.
• Execution and maintaining of stores documents/records in department in line with quality systems.
• Responsible for the calibration, Operation and cleaning of all the equipment’s in the Stores.
• Indenting of RM/PM/Consumables based on circulars received for Operations and Marketing team.
• Labelling of material and equipment in Stores area.
• Monitoring all daily activities of dispensing as per production schedule.
• Involvement with purchase and QA department in destruction of rejected material.
• Responsible to make the necessary entries in ERP system which is under implementation.
