Job summary

Sigenergy India, part of the Failte Solar Group, seeks an experienced warehouse professional to set up and manage systems, layout, and processes for efficient storage and dispatch across India. You will oversee receipt of imported consignments, ensure traceability, and drive ERP-enabled control of inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up warehouse systems, layouts and processes.
• Proficiency in inventory control including SKU/batch/lot tracking.
• Ability to implement ERP for inventory control, order processing and reporting.
• Exposure to import logistics and coordinating with distributors across India.
• Knowledge of safety norms for handling batteries and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up warehouse systems, layouts and processes for optimal space and workflow.
• Manage receipt of imported consignments, including unloading, GRN and system entry.
• Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts, audits and reconciliation.
• Plan and execute dispatches to distributors across India with timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders and clearing agents for inbound logistics.
• Implement and manage ERP for inventory control, order processing and reporting.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of lithium‑ion batteries and electronics as per safety norms.
• Establish warehouse SOPs for handling, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Optimize logistics costs and improve order fulfillment turnaround.
• Generate MIS reports on inventory, dispatches, ageing, damages and variances.

ABOUT SIGENERGY INDIA:

Sigenergy India, part of the Failte Solar Group, operates in the clean-energy and renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar energy, energy storage and related technologies.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operationalize warehouse systems, processes, and layout for optimal space utilization and workflow efficiency. Manage receipt of imported consignments, including unloading, inspection, GRN, and system entry.
• Ensure scientific storage and stowage of materials SKU-wise, lot-wise, and batch-wise with traceability. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
• Plan and execute dispatches to distributors across India, ensuring timely and error-free deliveries. Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for inbound logistics.
• Implement and manage ERP for inventory control, order processing, and reporting. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement/sales teams for replenishment planning.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive equipment like lithium-ion batteries and electronics as per safety norms.
• Establish warehouse SOPs for material handling, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Optimize logistics costs and improve turnaround time for order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements (including EHS norms).
• Generate MIS reports on inventory, dispatches, ageing, damages, and variances.

Required Qualifications:

• Warehouse operations and layout planning
• Inventory control (SKU / Batch / Lot tracking)
