Job summary

Carryfast in Indore is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to supervise daily logistics, MIS reporting, stock receipt, and SOP compliance.

You will lead 10–15 staff, plan transportation, monitor internal and external coordination, ensure inventory accuracy, security, and timely dispatch.

Education: Graduation with computer certification; 3–5 years’ experience; SAP/Advance Excel skills. Strong communication and reporting abilities are essential to align with depot management.

• 3–5 years of work experience in warehouse/logistics.
• Team handling experience of 10–15 people.
• Area-1 Lac+ sq.ft. warehouse exposure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external coordination and reporting to clients and management.
• Schedule and assign employees to meet warehouse operations.
• Safeguard warehouse operations by monitoring security protocols.
• Maintain MIS reports and stock receipts with accuracy.
• Plan vehicles, monitor dispatch efficiency, and ensure client satisfaction.

DAILY

• Maintaining internal (logistics, accounts) and external coordination (principle company) and reporting to clients and management.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintaining MIS reports
• Planning vehicles (transportation)
• Ensuring proper receipt of stock
• Proper maintenance of IRA (Inventory record accuracy) reports.
• E-way bill monitoring and tracking.
• 100% compliance of DM Checklist.
• Stock counting
• Ensuring proper temperature of warehouse as well as vehicles
• Designing the warehouse layout
• Ensuring customer as well as client satisfaction
• Carrying out job panning as well as job rotation when required
• Ensuring compliance to good warehousing practices
• Legal compliance related to warehouse operations
• Dispatch efficiency monitoring
• Handling calls from customers, transporter and principle.
• Ensure the compliance of all SOPs ( Standard operating procedures)
• Carryout sales return activities and inspection report

MONTHLY

• Preparation of freight bills
• Inventory control (Books VS Physical 100% match)
• Carrying out preventive maintenance activities
• 100% compliances of both internal and external audit check list.
• Plan, organize and conduct activities in the warehouse for the purpose of ensuring availability and efficient distribution of materials.
• To analyze training need.
• DM closure (monthly declaration)
• Closure of audit NC (noncompliance)

IF REQUIRED

• Conduct trainings and assess ongoing performance of subordinates.
