Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Executive/Sr. Executive in India to oversee end-to-end warehouse activities, forecasting volumes, and scheduling pickups/drop-offs. The role includes leading staff, ensuring safety, and optimizing processes for cost efficiency.

The candidate will manage inventory, coordinate with 3PL partners, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining accurate records and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years in Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehousing operations.
• Experience with WMS or SAP ERP is a plus.
• Prior 3PL/Contract Logistics experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willing to work in shifts; travel on short notice.
• Open to relocation based on project needs.
• Experience in contract logistics and 3PL industry preferred.
• Ability to handle large volumes and work under pressure.

Job description

The warehouse operations Executive / Sr. Executive supports to oversees the entire distribution plan of a business and support the warehouse operations by projecting, dispatching, and storing products.

This ensures that the warehouse runs smoothly, they forecast the product volume and create pick-up and drop-off schedules, while managing warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse inventory.
• Create and implement inventory management systems, processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, stock accuracy and stock rotation.
• Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.Execute strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance and repair.
• Maintain records and documentations concerning inventory, orders, and shipments.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Min 1 - 5 years work experience in Logistics/ Supply Chain/Warehousing companies monitoring daily operations of Warehouse.
• Experience in WMS / SAP similar ERP packages will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in a 3PL/Contract Logistics environment will be preferred.
• Well versed with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Open to travel in short notice
• Open to relocate as per project demands.
• Must have worked for contract Logistics and 3PL industry.
• Should be able to perform task under pressure, handle large volumes, be able to work flexible hours 6 days a week.
