Job summary

Aakash Universal Ltd in Mumbai is seeking a diligent Store/Inventory Keeper to manage construction materials and equipment on site. You will receive and inspect items against purchase orders and store them safely to prevent damage, theft, and deterioration.

You will issue materials and safety gear, track inventory via registers, perform stock audits, manage tools check-ins/check-outs, and maintain GRNs, gate passes, and consumption reports.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting incoming construction materials and equipment against purchase orders.
• Storing items safely on-site to prevent damage, theft, and deterioration.
• Issuing materials and safety gear to site staff and tracking inventory via registers or logs.
• Conducting regular physical stock audits and tracking reorder levels to prevent site downtime.
• Managing site tools and machinery check-ins/check-outs and scheduling required maintenance.
• Maintaining site documentation including Goods Received Notes (GRN), gate passes, and material consumption reports.
