Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the complete workshop operations for Tippers, Trailers, Crane Grabs, Excavators, Loaders, and other Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
• Ensure maximum fleet uptime and operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, transmission, and engine-related issues.
• Supervise mechanics, electricians, welders, technicians, and workshop staff.
• Monitor spare parts inventory, vendor development, procurement, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure timely renewal of Fitness Certificates (FC), permits, insurance, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records, job cards, equipment history, and workshop documentation.
• Implement safety procedures, 5S practices, and housekeeping standards within the workshop.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely vehicle availability.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
