Job summary

Mahavir Auto Diagnostics in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to greet customers, capture service needs, and coordinate repairs. You will inspect vehicles, prepare job cards, explain required work, timelines and costs, and ensure accurate customer communication.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in auto service, a Diploma/Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, and familiarity with premium brands or authorized service centers.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years as a Service Advisor.
• Experience with premium/luxury car brands or authorized dealerships preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, service processes and repair estimation.
• Excellent customer handling, communication and negotiation with focus on CSI.

Responsibilities

• Receive customers and understand service/repair requirements.
• Prepare vehicle inspection and job cards with accurate complaints.
• Explain repairs, schedules, estimated costs and timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with Technicians, Workshop Manager and Parts Team for timely vehicle repair.
• Obtain customer approval for additional repairs and communicate changes in cost or delivery time.
• Monitor the vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
• Ensure proper quality checks and vehicle readiness before delivery.
• Explain completed work, parts replaced and charges to the customer during vehicle delivery.
• Handle customer concerns/complaints and ensure high CSI and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct post-service follow-ups and identify opportunities for repeat service and customer retention.
