Senior Architect

Position: Senior Architect / Location: Hyderabad, India

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our design and execution team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in producing high-quality working drawings quickly and accurately, while maintaining clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients. This role requires someone who can translate conceptual designs into detailed, execution-ready drawings and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Working Drawings & Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Produce execution drawings including: Floor plans, RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plans), Electrical and lighting layouts, Joinery and cabinetry details, Flooring layouts, Elevations and sections, Detailed construction drawings.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and ready for on-site execution.
• Deliver drawings within tight timelines while maintaining high standards of documentation.

2. Design Development

• Translate concept design into technical execution drawings.
• Develop interior detailing and material specifications.
• Work closely with senior leadership to refine design intent.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Clearly communicate drawing details and design requirements to execution teams.
• Participate in site coordination meetings when required.
• Address technical queries from site teams efficiently.

4. Quality Control

• Review drawings for accuracy, buildability, and consistency.
• Ensure drawings align with site conditions and execution requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

Experience

10 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design execution

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of working drawing production
• Knowledge of joinery detailing, interior construction methods, and site coordination
• Experience with SketchUp / Revit / Photoshop is a plus
