Job summary

SMFG INDIA CREDIT COMPANY in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned LAP professional to source enterprise customers and manage DSA networks while ensuring proper KYC documentation.

The role involves disbursement coordination with Risk, presenting cases to sanction authorities, and proactive collection to maintain portfolio quality; local residency in Bengaluru is required, with relevant LAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in LAP (NBFC / Micro Finance) background.
• Must be a local resident of Bengaluru.
• Proficient in KYC documentation and borrower assessment basics.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing target enterprise customers in the branch catchment area.
• Empanel DSA/connector network and manage relationship as per policy.
• Coordinate with Risk for PD, present cases for sanction, gather inputs.
• Coordinate documentation for mortgage and ensure timely disbursement.
• Ensure post-disbursement compliance and timely collections to maintain portfolio quality.

Job description

Role & responsibilities -

1. Sourcing Customers:

• Responsible for sourcing target customers (Enterprise) in the branch catchment area.
• Cold calling, generation of leads, attending to prospects and logging in the file with necessary documents like KYC etc
• Market penetration through direct/indirect marketing activities
• Empanelling DSAs, generating business through DSA network with relationship management as per Sourcing Policy of the company released time to time.

2. Disbursement:

• Coordinating with Risk Team for PD, facilitating additional documents/information if any.
• Ability to present and discuss the case with sanction authority
• Necessary inputs to the appraisal as and when required
• Documentation, coordinating with customers for mortgage and Ops for timely disbursement activities
• Ensuring post disbursement compliance as per stipulated time.

3. Collection:

• Ensuring timely repayment from the customers
• Ensuring portfolio quality by following up with delinquent customers

Preferred candidate profile -

1. Preferred from LAP background ( NBFC / Micro Finance )
2. Minimum 2+ years of work experience in LAP department.
3. Must be local resident of Bangalore Location.
4. Age up to 33 years (relaxation of up to 2 years can be consider).
5. Grade up to O4.
6. Individual SM Profile
7. DSA / Connector handling experience must.
8. Computer & Mail communication knowledge.
