Job summary

NGL Fine Chem is seeking an experienced professional to lead organic synthesis efforts, advancing API intermediates from lab to commercial scale. You will optimize routes, review process risks and costs, and drive technology transfer.

This role requires mentoring R&D staff and ensuring quality and safety compliance across projects. Responsibilities span coordinating with Production, QA/QC, Regulatory teams, and other stakeholders to meet timelines and budget goals while identifying innovation

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-step organic synthesis of API intermediates and final products.
• Develop and optimize synthetic routes for improved yield, purity, and cost.
• Lead process development and optimization projects from lab to commercial scale.
• Review synthetic routes, process risks, and cost optimization strategies.
• Drive scale-up, technology transfer, and plant troubleshooting activities.
• Review technical reports, batch records, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Regulatory teams.
• Guide and mentor R&D scientists/executives while ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Identify innovation opportunities and support continuous process improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed within quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
