Job summary

Winfort in India seeks an experienced Organic Chemistry professional to develop and optimize pharma and agrochemical intermediate processes. Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry required.
• 9–10 years of relevant experience in Process R&D / Process Development.
• Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical or agrochemical intermediate development.
• Strong expertise in Organic Synthesis and Multi-step Synthesis.
• Experience in Route Scouting, Process Optimization, Scale-up and Tech Transfer.
• Exposure to impurity isolation and characterization.
• Strong experimental design, data analysis and scientific documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize processes for Pharma and Agrochemical intermediate molecules.
• Perform hands-on organic synthesis and conduct multiple chemical reactions daily.
• Work on route scouting, feasibility studies, process optimization and process validation.
• Handle multi-step synthesis, complex chemistry and pressure reactions.
• Lead R&D projects from concept through process development and commercialization.
• Identify and control critical process parameters for consistent and cost-effective processes.
• Support scale-up, tech transfer, plant commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform root-cause analysis and continuous process improvement.
• Prepare SOPs and maintain experimental records as per GLP standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for product quality and process improvement.
• Characterize compounds using techniques/instruments such as NMR, LCMS, HPLC, IR, UV-Visible, XRD and ICP.

Required Skills & Experience:
