Job summary

K D Hospital is seeking a procurement professional to manage the end-to-end purchasing process for medical, non-medical, consumable and general items.

The role involves handling requisitions, quotations, POs, vendor negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery across Stores, Pharmacy, Accounts and user departments.

You will contribute to inventory planning and cost-control initiatives while maintaining accurate vendor records and purchase documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchase of medical, non-medical, consumable and general items.
• Process purchase requisitions, quotations, comparative statements and POs.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for best price, quality and delivery.
• Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Stores, Pharmacy, Accounts and user departments.
• Verify quotations, invoices, delivery challans and purchase documents.
• Maintain vendor records, rate contracts and purchase documentation.
• Monitor pending orders and urgent requirements.
• Support inventory planning and cost-control initiatives.
• Prepare purchase-related MIS and reports.
