Job summary

ITC in Mysuru seeks an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to manage domain engineering on industrial projects. You will ensure correct drawings, monitor consultants, and drive corrective actions while coordinating with architects for layouts and statutory drawings.

The role requires 6–12 years of hands-on site experience, knowledge of power distribution, transformers and DG systems, and strong project management skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Karnataka.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a UGC/AICTE-recognized institute.
• 6–12 years of hands-on site execution in industrial projects (FMCG, warehouse, manufacturing).
• Knowledge of Power Distribution (HT/LT panels, cabling), transformers, motors and DG switchyard.
• Project engineering & management techniques.
• Broad knowledge of design parameters.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specifications with the contractor.
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants and PMCs; drive efficiency and corrective actions.
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan.
• Review weekly & monthly reports; elevate issues and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings.
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/civil/electrical).
• Evaluate BOQ / tender drawings submitted by consultants.
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages.
• Forecast the amount of work to be executed and plan cash flows.
• Collaborate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders and contracts issues.
• Monitor milestones against project plan.
• Review and approve first-level sign off on measurement sheets, payments.
• Ensure QA/QC processes on construction.
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites.
• Adhere to all systems & processes as required by the Organization.

Preferred candidate profile
