Job summary

ITC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for site execution in industrial construction projects such as FMCG, warehouses and manufacturing units. You will coordinate with architects and consultants, finalize layouts, manage BOQs and tenders, and ensure timely, safe delivery of varied domain packages.

Responsibilities include monitoring drawings/specifications, managing contractors and PMCs, and ensuring QA/QC and safety compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• 12-18 years hands-on site execution experience in industrial construction (FMCG, warehouse, manufacturing).
• Knowledge of building services engineering domain.
• Project engineering & management techniques.
• Basic design, installation & commissioning of utilities (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, boiler etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings.
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/civil/electrical).
• Evaluate BOQ/tender drawings submitted by consultants.
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain packages.
• Review drawings/specifications with contractor; ensure availability of correct documents.
• Monitor delivery/quality of consultants and PMCs; drive corrective actions.
• Oversee day-to-day site work per plan; review weekly/monthly reports.
• Forecast work scope and coordinate with Contracts & Purchase for BOQs and contracts.
• Review milestones, approve measurement sheets and payments.
• Enforce QA/QC processes and safety audits at sites.

Role & Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Co-ordinate with architects / consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/ civil / electrical domain)
• Evaluate BOQ / tender drawings submitted by consultants
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages

Project Execution and Monitoring

• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specification with the contractor
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants, PMCs. Drive efficiency, review periodically, escape issues and ensure corrective actions
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan
• Review weekly & monthly reports of package assigned, escape issues and drive corrective actions

Budgets, tendering & contracting

• Forecast the amount of work to be executed and hence plan the cash flows
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders and contracts related issue

Vendor Management & Payables:

• Monitor milestones against project plan
• Review and approve first-level sign off on the measurement sheets, payments

Quality & Safety

• Ensure implementation of construction QA/ QC processes
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites

Compliance & Audits

• Ensure adherence to all systems & processes as required by the organisation

Preferred candidate profile

• 12 -18 years of hands-on experience in site execution profile with Industrial construction Projects like FMCG, Warehouse, Manufacturing Units
• Knowledge of building services engineering domain
• Project engineering & management techniques
• Basic design, installation & commissioning of utilities like - HVAC, firefighting,

plumbing, boiler, compressor, pumps, sewage / effluent treatment plant

• Broad knowledge of design parameters
