The path outlines progression to Senior Projects Engineer and beyond. Ideal candidates hold BE/BTech in Mechanical/Chemical/Production or Industrial Engineering, or a Diploma with strong site exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma with strong site experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Convert engineering drawings and plans into onsite work.
• Spend substantial time at client sites to learn execution of large projects.
• Serve as part of frontline execution with potential progression to senior roles.

Role & responsibilities

The Onsite Projects Engineer will be part of the frontline execution team responsible for converting engineering drawings, plans and commitments into actual work at the project site. THIS IS NOT A DESK-ENGINEERING ROLE.The candidate should be willing to spend substantial periods at client sites and learn how large industrial projects are actually executed. BS Projects should recruit these engineers not only for today's role, but as a future leadership pipeline. ONSITE PROJECTS ENGINEER > SENIOR PROJECTS ENGINEER > PROJECT MANAGER > PROJECT HEAD

• Chemical / process plants
• Manufacturing facilities

Candidates from smaller or mid-sized engineering organisations can be highly relevant if they demonstrate strong hands-on exposure, stability and hunger for larger projects.
