Job summary

Modern Metals in Haryana is seeking a Project Engineer to lead installation, erection and commissioning of plant equipment including heat treatment furnaces, utilities, DG and electrical panels. The role requires hands-on technical execution and collaboration across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with AutoCAD for civil drawings, coordinate with architects and vendors, and manage tendering, estimation and outsourcing activities to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Reading specifications, drawing submission and replying to technical comments for project scheduling.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and coordination with architects for civil drawings.
• Tendering, estimation, compilation and bidding for outsourcing activities.

Responsibilities

• Installation, erection and commissioning of complete plant with heat treatment furnaces, utilities, DG, transformer and other electrical & mechanical machines.

Project Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for Installation, Erection and commissioning of complete plant with heat treatment furnaces, utilities, dg, transformer and many other electrical and mechanical machines.

The person should be able to work effectively across Multiple Projects in a fast paced manner.

Exp in Project detailing, planning, engineering, coordinating and scheduling with facility and equipment layouts, should be able to work on AutoCAD and coordinate with the architect for civil construction drawings and explain the same to construction contractor.

Should be able to handle, select, negotiate and make work orders for civil construction contractors like, plumber, electricians, earth filling, shed fabricators etc.

Hands on experience for Tendering and reading the specifications, understand the standards, Estimation, Compilation and Bidding of activities for outsourcing work.

Should be able to handle a green field project and get the project started and industry running.

Desired Candidate Profile

Hands on Experience for Project Engineer in reading specifications, drawing submission, replying to various technical comments and project scheduling for task completion.

BE/B. Tech (Mech. ) or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

Work with the Order Management team, Vendors, suppliers and sub-suppliers to implement any approved changes to the vendor/supplier delivery dates due to changes in the Order schedule.

Excellent Oral and written Communication Skills, Detail oriented, ability to work effectively across Multiple Projects in a fast paced manner, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership Skills with good Task Management Ability, Coordination skills with the ability to manage efficiently the Internal as well

as external vendors

Ability to Handle allotted projects/ work independently.

Should be able to read engineering drawing 2D and 3D. Also working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.

Expert in PLC, shed fabrication, civil construction work, Electrical Panels, utilities installation etc.
