Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a site supervisor for mechanical erection and related construction activities at Mundra, Gujarat. You will oversee equipment, piping and structural works, ensure conformity to drawings, specs, and schedules, and coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.

You will support planning, track material and manpower, ensure quality and safety compliance, and assist in reporting and documentation to maintain progress and claims if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience in mechanical erection/execution of industrial projects.
• Knowledge of Primavera or MS Project.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day mechanical erection activities including equipment, piping, and structural works.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for smooth workflow and issue resolution.
• Monitor progress and report status through daily/weekly progress reports.
• Identify delays and support in implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in preparation of micro-level planning and activity schedules in line with master plan.
• Track material availability, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization at site.
• Support senior team in preparing MIS reports and progress updates.
• Ensure work is executed as per required quality standards and specifications.
• Enforce site safety practices and compliance with HSE norms.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Verify contractor work progresses for billing purposes.
• Assist in checking RA bills and certification process.
• Assist in tracking extra items and preparing basic documentation for claims or variations.
• Maintain site records such as DPR, WPR, inspection reports, and material reconciliation.
• Ensure proper documentation for all executed work and site activities.
• Coordinate with engineering team for drawing clarifications.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for execution and issue resolution.
• Guide to junior engineers and supervisors at site.
• Ensure proper allocation of work and monitoring of team performance.
