Job summary

Venus Safety & Health in Navi Mumbai is seeking a BE Mechanical candidate for a shift-based Production Supervisor role. You will guide operators, monitor quality, and ensure target output with daily records and reports.

The position requires strong training ability, adherence to 5S and Kaizen practices, safety compliance, and willingness to relocate to Taloja if needed. Join a facility offering city accommodation and meals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production lines and training operators.
• Ability to monitor quality and reduce rejections.
• Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement (Kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Guide and support operators to achieve production targets and improve performance.
• Train operators on work instructions, quality procedures, and production processes.
• Monitor product quality, record defects, and work to reduce rejections.
• Maintain daily production, quality, and productivity records.
• Prepare daily WIP, batch yield, and stock reports.
• Allocate manpower on the line based on priority to achieve target output.
• Verify attendance, punch reports, and daily point calculations of operators.
• Encourage daily Kaizen and cost-saving ideas.
• Maintain 5S standards and lead quality circle activities on the line.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and PPE is used to prevent accidents.
• Perform basic machine checks, minor adjustments, and report breakdowns.
• Coordinate with stores for material issue, receipts, and stock closure.
• Inspect products daily as per quality standards and approve batch markings.
• Conduct daily line meetings and highlight issues for corrective action.
• Support preventive maintenance and follow standard operating procedures.
