Job summary

Circle Cbg India seeks an experienced Biogas Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our Meerut facility.

You will manage feedstock and slurry handling, ensure membrane-based purification, control quality tests, and coordinate maintenance and safety practices to keep production efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience managing biogas production.
• Expertise in membrane-based purification process.
• Experience interpreting lab results and making decisions based on them.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily biogas production operations.
• Handle feedstock management to mixing tank and ensure daily parameter control.
• Monitor slurry feed into digesters and maintain consistent process conditions.
• Ensure lab tests are conducted and used to guide operations.
• Coordinate with vendors and equipment manufacturers for smooth operations.
• Implement preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, mixers and other critical equipment.
• Ensure safety rules and protocols are followed in hazardous areas.

Job description

• Responsible for overall management of daily Biogas Production process
• Strong understanding of Biogas production process right from feedstock management to filling, quality control and running daily operations
• MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING BIOGAS PRODUCTION PROCESS
• MUST HAVE DETAILED EXPERTISE IN MEMBRANE BASED PURIFICATION PROCESS
• Management of daily feedstock feed into the mixing tank and constantly maintaining required parameters in mixing tank
• Management of daily slurry feed into the mixing tank and constantly maintaining required parameters in digesters
• Must have deep expertise in getting all mixing and digesters parameters and getting the right lab tests done
• Must be proficient in taking decisions based on lab parameters
• Must have expertise in resolving mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues in house as far as possible. Deep understanding of troubleshooting at the site
• Must be proficient in co-ordinating with vendors and manufacturers of all equipment to ensure smooth operations
• Put in place stringent processes for regular check-ups, pro-active maintenance of all critical equipment including but not limited to all pumps, compressors, mixers etc.
• Have expertise in membrane-based gas purification system and making sure required product gas quality is shipped to clients
• Have deep understanding of gas purity and working of the CBG analysers
• Take full responsibility of making sure all spare part requirements are timely handed over to the procurement department
• Providing all technical clarifications to the procurement team during the process of procuring process equipment and spares
• Follow all required safety rules and protocols of Biogas production operation process esp. hazardous areas.
