IOC Gps Renewables is seeking a Senior Operations & Maintenance leader to supervise BioCNG plants across India. You will drive performance KPIs, manage O&M budgets, and coordinate with EPC/HO teams on plant performance and compliance.
You will review reports, provide strategic direction to plant managers and ensure all statutory approvals are maintained. The role involves high-level audits, HSE metrics, and occasional travel to sites.
Responsible for overseeing the smooth operation & maintenance of all BioCNG plants at various locations in India - commissioned by the EPC Team, and ensure stated operational & performance KPIs, within the given O&M budget while maintaining overall compliances as required.
Review the regular reports provided to the HO on the plant performance.
Provide Sr-level leadership & direction to the plants day to day operations & maintenance activities.
Ensuring all Statutory approvals are in place and ensure its renewal as and when required.
Review and monitor BAM & Aggregation activities
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring best practices, procedures, and policies that will help achieve plant performance & KPIs. Work closely with Plant Managers, Operation Managers, BAM & Aggregation incharge, helping the company to determine the most efficient procedures and implement the best strategies to achieve as we as improve plant performance.
Spend maximum time in directing plant managers, maintenance, performance evaluation, monitoring KPIs, bio-process laboratory operations and other aspects of O&M management. Furthermore, assist the CEO in critical business decisions as well as attend meetings with key stakeholders of the company.
Review & audit OPEX budgets, expenditure, cashflows, work schedules, HSE performance metrics
To conduct Audits, Inspections at site & advise on Process Improvement, OPEX optimization, Capacity building enablers, ideas & innovations to further optimize plant performance
To oversee effective planning for equipment maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability at the plant.
To oversee and guide on effective spares planning for planned and breakdown maintenance, coordinate for timely purchases, efficient store inventory management.
Maintain a effective relations with all site teams and attend regular meetings with them on plant performance, inventory/ spare management etc.
Participate in various studies such as HAZOP, design review, model review for the current plant as well as for future expansion projects.
Responsible for regular training for all plant personnel, including but not limited to HSE personnel, shift incharges, engineers, team building and onsite discipline.
Managing risks to avoid losses or reputational damage
To have a good understanding of organization-wide issues and be able to suggest solutions for resolution on any other matters related to O&M management.
To understand any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time are commensurate with the general level of this post and as directed by the management.
Able to get IT software developed and implemented related to KPI Dashboard, Shift Reports, Lab Reports, Inventory Management of Spares, Asset Management,
To conduct inspections at site & act on Process Improvement, OPEX optimisation, Capacity building enablers, ideas & innovations to further optimise plant performance.
Sound understanding & study of O&M Contracts to deliver on the assigned KRAs, P&L of the plant effectively.
Liasoning with local administrative authorities
Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, supply chain and IT
Experience with implementing IT systems
Develop strong interpersonal relationships with key vendors/ clients
Be ready to take on additional intellectual tasks on conceptualisation for capacity building in project management.
Knowledge of Anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, CBG Compression and instrumentation.
This is a central team role, involving remote monitoring, control & operations of all operational plants.
Site visit may be required to check, trace and resolve the issues, hence accessibility to travel is important
Reporting to CEO of the company.
This is a HO based role, involving overall monitoring, control & operations & maintenance activities for all CBG plants of IGRPL along with BAM and aggregation.
Manager Operations and BAM & Aggregation
Plant Manager, Deputy Plant Manager and other working manpower at plant
Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical/ Process/ Mechanical) and/or MBA from reputed institution is desired but relevant experience takes precedence.
Degree/ Diploma/ Certification in Operations Management will be given preference.
15-24 years of overall work experience, At least 06-10 years of experience in team leadership, with demonstrated capability in handl .
