Job summary

3 Point Human Capital in Chennai is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own and manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate salary calculations, deductions, and timely payments while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance on employee data, benefits, and incentives, generate internal and statutory reports, and support audits. The role requires strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administering and overseeing the entire payroll cycle, including salary calculations, deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.), and payment distribution.
• Own the end-to-end payroll process and accounting for multi-state employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance as per SLA
• Manage incentive-based compensation in coordination with HR and Finance
• Partner with HR to ensure accurate employee data and integrations across HRMS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday)
• Administer payroll deductions, benefits, bonus payouts, and other variable components.
• Generating various payroll reports for internal use (e.g., for management and accounting) and external reporting (e.g., tax filings).
• Support audits (Statutory, Tax, Internal) and provide relevant payroll documentation.
• Implement and optimize payroll processes and controls for scalability.
• Develop internal reporting and analytics to support Finance and People teams.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related queries
• Ensuring adherence to all applicable Labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll.
